Inc. is the result of the desire to solve everyday problems around the home. The founder
of the company, Burrus Beshore, has always loved to make things work better. From
childhood to present, he has looked at life from a different angle, trying to improve how
things work or see a void that hasn't been filled. His problem solving became fined-tuned
while working 20 years in the retail hardware industry. Every day was filled with creating
something out of nothing - and figuring out a way to make just about anything work. Fortunately, the hardware store was the incubator for over a dozen
products, most of which are still in the patent and production process. The Forever
Glides® became the first commercialized invention of Burrus's, after he saw the large
need for a great furniture glide. The first objective became iron patio furniture because
of the damage the steel chair legs were causing to wood deck surfaces, linoleum and
hardwood floors.
As the company began to grow, David Wray, a long-time
friend, became co-owner and vice-president. He came to Max-Tech with 20 plus years of
marketing and customer service through the jewelry industry. He now heads up sales and
marketing, as well as fine-tuning production issues. Their facility is located in
Englewood, Colorado, a southern suburb of Denver.
Max-Tech's new Forever Glides® for Wood were developed
because so many people wanted to stick the original Forever Glides® to surfaces other
than iron furniture. The confines of the metal cup on iron patio furniture kept the glides
from being torn loose if there was a hard impact to the side of the glide. The new plastic
cup accomplishes the same thing, keeping the Forever Glides® from being accidentally torn
from the leg. It adds incredible strength and versatility to the already remarkable
qualities of the glides. They have the unique feature of being able to be attached to
almost any surface and still provide a self-leveling, long lasting chair glide available
in brown and black, they are a great choice for bar stools, dining chairs or anything that
needs to slide easily.
This exciting young company continues to distribute their
innovative products throughout the country. As production schedules allow, there should be
one or two new products released every year. At this point, there is no IPO scheduled and
stock will continue to be privately held. This is a growing young company trying to keep
the American Dream alive and well... |
